FAQs

🛒 1. ORDERING

1.1 Do I need to create an account to place an order?

No, you can check out as a guest every time.

1.2 How do I place an order?

You’ll receive a letter from the school with a password to log in at www.openimage.co.za. After logging in, choose the correct grade or category to view your child’s photo. Add the items to your cart and proceed to checkout. Please double-check that all your information is correct before making payment.

1.3 How do I pay for my order?

We accept:

  • All major credit and debit cards
  • EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
  • SnapScan
  • ATM Payments

Important: Please use your order number as the payment reference to avoid delays.

1.4 Can I amend or cancel my order?

Unfortunately, we cannot cancel or change orders once they’ve been placed. Please review your items carefully before checking out.

1.5 How do I know if my order is confirmed?

You’ll receive an email confirmation after placing your order.
Note: Orders are only processed once payment reflects in our bank account with the correct payment reference.


🚚 2. DELIVERY

2.1 When will my order be processed?

Orders are sent for printing within 2 working days after your payment reflects (excluding weekends and public holidays). Once ready, the photos are packed and delivered to the school on the date stated on your order confirmation.

2.2 How long will delivery take?

The estimated school delivery date is shown at the bottom right of your order confirmation email.

2.3 I haven’t received my photos — what should I do?

If more than 5 working days have passed since your school’s delivery date, please contact us at info@openimage.co.za.

Possible reasons for the delay:

  • Payment was not received or had the wrong reference
  • The delivery date has not yet arrived
  • The photos might still be in your child’s school bag — please check with them
  • No order was placed, or the order was placed incorrectly
  • The order was placed after the deadline and is considered a Late Order (see below)

2.4 I received a defective or missing item — what now?

We sincerely apologize for any mistakes. Please email info@openimage.co.za with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we’ll make it right as soon as possible.

2.5 I haven’t received my order — who can I contact?

You’re welcome to email us anytime at info@openimage.co.za for help with your order status.


🕒 3. LATE ORDERS

3.1 What if I missed the ordering deadline?

We get it — life happens. After the last ordering day, we remove printed photo options to ensure on-time delivery for everyone. But digital photos are still available for order any time.

3.2 Can I still get printed photos after the deadline?

Yes, we can manually reactivate the printed options for the specific photo you want.

However:

  • An R80 late handling fee will be added to cover the extra time and admin required
  • Late orders must be collected from our office — they will not be delivered to schools

3.3 What do I need to do to request a late print?

  1. Log in at www.openimage.co.za
  2. Find the photo you want printed
  3. Take note of the photo number
  4. Email the photo number  to info@openimage.co.za

Once received, we’ll activate the printed options for that photo and let you know when it’s ready for you to place the order.

We appreciate your understanding — this process helps us keep things running smoothly while still giving you access to prints if you missed the deadline.
